In Las Vegas, Tony Stark praises Pepper Potts for her hard work in ridding the city of the lizard infestation. Pepper introduces him to Elsa Bloodstone, noting that their fathers had worked together. Tony is smitten with her and invites her to lunch. She explains that she believes she caused the lizard invasion when the dragon statue was brought to Vegas; she wants Tony’s help in identifying the mystery individual who hired her. The only clue is the inscription on the statue’s base. Tony invites her to the grand opening as his guest so she can get closer to the statue….
That evening, they arrive at the ceremony, Elsa dressed in a flashy gown and jewelry which Tony paid for. The giant statue is unveiled and Tony hands Elsa a new Stark camera which can zoom to the base. As she reads the inscription, the statue—Fin Fang Foom—roars to life and goes on a rampage. Tony has Happy Hogan drive Elsa to safety while he grabs his briefcase and hurries to the nearest hotel where he checks into the Bridal Suite, the only rooms available, and dons his armor. Iron Man zooms out and rescues people from a roller coaster damaged by the monster. Iron Man then confronts Fin Fang Foom and challenges it to battle….
