Review: Little plot, confusing action, dark grim art. And this kid is just now wising up to how much his father has changed—and instantly wanted to kill him? That’s some Oedipus Complex. Can we move on?




 

Synopsis / Summary / Plot

Thor: God of Thunder #10 Synopsis by Peter Silvestro
Gorr the God Butcher is victorious over the Thors: King Thor is nailed to an asteroid, Avenger Thor trapped underground, Young Thor drained of power, and the Mjolnirs encased in a living cage of Thor’s granddaughters. Gorr is about to detonate his Godbomb but when his wife hails him as a god, he kills her in a rage. Their son appeals to Avenger Thor to destroy his father, whose obsession has made him a monster. The kid frees all the gods and they take up weapons. Young Thor, in the grip of Gorr, bites his foe’s eye out and joins the other Thors in an apocalyptic assault on the Godbomb. It detonates….
