The far future: King Thor has challenged Galactus to battle for the fate of the desolate Earth. The Thunder God is able to injure the Devourer of Worlds but the latter strikes back by punching Thor so hard he crashes all the way through the Earth and into the moon. The fight continues….
The present: Thor returns from three weeks away (participating in the Infinity mega-event) and finds his beloved Broxton has changed: Roxxon has moved their flying factories in to pollute the air and has bought up the entire town. SHIELD Agent Roz Solomon warns him not to do anything rash; instead he heads directly to Roxxon Island, Roz following behind in a SHIELD flying car. Thor confronts Roxxon boss Dario "The Minotaur" Agger and defeats his army. Roz stops him from further havoc while Agger pretends his actions were purely for the good of Broxton. Thor offers to buy the town or to fight for it. At that, Agger’s lawyers enter and serve papers notifying that they are suing Thor for the damages done to Roxxon property (here and in the previous issue) and will file restraining orders to keep him at bay. Thor is outraged—but apparently helpless…
The far future: Galactus unleashes a massive power bolt at Thor…..
Epilogue (present): While Dario Agger gloats over this victory of Thor, he negotiates with a new ally to destroy the Thunder God entirely—Ulik the Troll….
