Synopsis / Summary / Plot

Incredible Hulk #245 Synopsis by Julio Molina-Muscara
Hulk reaches Gamma base to rescue the body of the deceased Jarella which is kept intact in a tube in a secret chamber of the base. But the military was waiting for him, and lashes all their power against the green brute!

When the battle seems to be won by the Hulk, Glenn Talbot attacks him wearing the Super-Mandroid, a lethal armor provided by S.H.I.E.L.D. since the Pentagon has finally granted Talbot permission to kill the Hulk.

Although Talbot gets the upper hand, he ultimately succumbs to the never-ending strength of the Hulk!

Meanwhile, Captain Marvel was in Denver, CO and heard the news about the Hulk's attack. He shows up just in time to save Talbot!

Somewhere else, Rick Jones and Fred Sloan are invited to the Mike Douglas TV show to talk about the Hulk. Also, it is revealed that Rick is writing a book about his experiences with the Hulk. In Rick's own words, "I'd like to get the truth about the Hulk in print... That he's not just a mindless monster!"
