Bereet, an artist from the planet Krylor, is warmly applauded by the Krylorian public for her Hulk feature film. Making movies about the Hulk is her passion as a fan of the green goliath. However, she is unhappy that her other art pieces, which she refers to as techno-arts, lack the same level of recognition as her movies. She and Sturky, her mascot, travel to planet Earth to meet the Hulk in person.

Meanwhile, a group of (other) extra terrestrials are looking for the Hulk, they are Amphibion (AKA Qnax, from planet Xanterean), Torgo (king robot from Mekka), and Dark-Crawler (the sole survivor from the Dark Dimension). Sent by Daydra, empress from the Sagittarius System, this trio intends to convince the Hulk to help them save them from the Galaxy Master and his powerful ally.

Hulk welcomes the group with blows, and after coming out victorious, Daydra convinces him to offer his help. Hulk leaves with them, while Betty Ross finds Rick Jones in the cave, applying a gamma dose on himself to, hopefully, turn into a second Hulk and aid his friend, the original Hulk, against the alien threats.

Also in this story: Bruce Banner. In a movie: the Gargoyle, the Sub-Mariner. In memories: the Leader.

Incredible Hulk, The (1968 series) #269 Review by (February 15, 2010)
First appearance of Bereet in a Hulk comic. First time Rick Jones receives a doses of gamma rays to become a super being like the Hulk, this time without positive results, almost costing him his life.
