Infernal Hulk, The (2026 series) #6

The Living City, inhabited by Eldest’s monsters, is suddenly invaded by Tony Stark in his Hellbuster armor, leading a band of Iron Man drones, challenging Infernal Hulk to fight. The monstrous Hulk emerges, crushing a drone and lecturing Stark on the time he invaded Nineveh and their champion Sennacherib came out to challenge him….

The military operation is being overseen by several officers plus Reed Richards and Winter Soldier. Reed is confident Tony’s Hellbuster armor will win the day but Bucky asks what if it can’t? That’s when they worry….

As Tony duels with Hulk, the drones fight the other monsters in the city. Reed notes that the battle is shredding a tectonic plate as Tony whips out the spear of the One Above All and skewers Hulk with it. But Hulk calmly rips Tony’s armored arms off, then plucks the spear out of his chest and hurls it back at Tony, piercing him through the top of his helmet. Tony orders Reed to fire the mines as Hulk beats him with an arm from his armor….

Reed detonates the self-burrowing cluster mines which have been weakening the ground under the city. But the Living City is an Elder God and refuses to die. Tony flies out, calling on Reed to fire everything that’s left. Reed balks as the Earth is already in danger. A space-based weapon fires and the witnesses see the city protected by a giant winged monster—and then the beam hits. Certain that they have killed Tony Stark, the military leaders plus Bucky and Reed see that the city is still there. In the corner of the viewscreen, two Iron Man drones are carrying Tony Stark to safety….

Meanwhile, at an auto body shop in West Virginia, the Sheriff stops by to remind the workers of the new curfew. They leave, among them Charlie Tidwell, who still has Lycana’s skin in her Captain America backpack….
