Synopsis

She-Hulk #10 synopsis by Peter Silvestro
Rating: 4 stars

At his wrongful death trial, Steve Rogers has just admitted that everything in Harold Fogler’s dying statement is true. Counsel for the Plaintiff Matt Murdock asks Steve if he is admitting guilt; Steve denies it and Matt rests his case. Steve’s lawyer Jen “She-Hulk” Walters asks him to supply the missing facts. Steve relates how his pal Sam Fogler asked him to accompany him to Los Angeles to look for Sam’s wayward brother Harry. When they had located him and were captured by the gang Harry was running with, it turned out that the hoods were being recruited as traitors by Nazi agent Saurespritze. The villain ordered Sam, Harry and Steve to be executed but Steve stood up to Saurespritze, mocking the Nazi pretensions to superiority and upholding the American fighting spirit. Saurespritze responded by killing Sam. Jen then asks Steve why the Nazi was not mentioned in the police reports; Steve states that it is classified….

Later at the office, Patsy Walker, in her Hellcat outfit, hands over the secret file she swiped from the government. It reveals that moments after Saurespritze had killed Sam, FBI agents raided the meeting, capturing the punks, rescuing Harry and Steve. The lead Agent suggested that Steve, despite being 4-F continue to try to serve his country and hinted at a secret experimental program…. Jen sees this as the perfect way to close the case—but Steve won’t allow her to reveal classified information….

The next day, the two lawyers present their closing arguments and Steve is acquitted of the charges. Later, Steve tells Matt and Jen that the case was orchestrated by his old enemy Dr Faustus to tarnish the name of Captain America, so Steve involved the two sharpest lawyers he knew to clear his name permanently. She-Hulk and Daredevil then accompany him on a visit to Faustus. The two younger heroes take on the baddie’s goons while the elderly Steve clobbers Faustus….

Epilogue: Jen returns to Brooklyn with Angie Huang and Patsy where they find her office has been broken into—and Titania is there, waving the Blue File….
