Spider-Man and the Incredible Hulk (Dallas Times Herald) (1981 series) #1

Peter Parker takes a vacation in Dallas, staying with his cousin Billy. Meanwhile, Bruce Banner is working on an oilfield when Sandman, hired by Kingpin to sabotage oil wells so he can make a killing in the stock market, forms his body into a drill and clogs oil pipelines. Bruce spots the trespasser and confronts him, Sandman spins Bruce around in a mini-sandstorm which triggers his transformation into the Hulk. Hulk now takes the blame for the sabotage. Sandman sees in the news that Hulk is accused of sabotage so he dyes himself green and takes on the shape of the Hulk to continue his villainous acts….

Peter accompanies Billy and his family on a shopping expedition to the Sanger-Harris department store where he buys a gift for Aunt May. His Spider-Sense goes off when he encounters Sandman in disguise so he puts a Spider-Tracer on him; that night Peter goes out as Spider-Man and traces Sandman to the oilfield where he is terrorizing the place in his Hulk guise. Bruce Banner again assaults Sandman but his hand is stuck and Bruce turns into Hulk. Sandman panics and runs, Hulk and Spidey both try to catch him. After much mayhem, Spidey tricks the baddie into punching a cement truck and he covered in wet cement and turns solid. Hulk takes off, Kingpin throws a fit, Peter goes home and gives Aunt May the nice pocketbook he bought her at Sanger Harris!
