Review: A bunch of violence marks part four of a story that doesn’t live up to its potential.

Comments: The cover carries the “Shattered Heroes” banner.

The Mighty Thor #11 Synopsis by Peter Silvestro

As the recovered Thor leads his companions into the maw of the Demogorge in space, on Earth Loki manages to reawaken in the Silver Surfer’s memory of Thor. They head off to confront the Weird Sisters…but Kelda is already confronting her Sister Crone—the Norn Queen Karnilla in disguise—who has used the other two to unwittingly provide the power to cast the Troll King’s illusion throughout the Nine Worlds. Karnilla slays Kelda and the other sister with a knife calling on the troll army to invade—just as Loki and the Surfer arrive. The trolls mass their forces and Tanarus, revealed to be the troll champion Ulik, battles Heimdall….

Thor leads his companions deeper into the throat of the Demogorge where they discover the Graveyard of the Gods and moving further in, seeking the heart of the massive monster. Fighting their way through a mass of foul tendrils, they come upon the organ they seek, the only thing standing between them and home….

Back in Asgardia, Tony Stark proudly unveils to the All-Mother the newly rebuilt city. As they survey their new home, Heimdall and Ulik come crashing into the center of the courtyard, signaling the invasion has begun. Back in the cave, Karnilla resumes her true form and declares her victory….
