The new story mentions Kang so it's obviously after the main story. And the Marvel Chronology Project puts it immediately after that.

The main story reprints Avengers #8 which introduced Kang The Conqueror.

Story 2:- Love is a battlefield

Rick Jones recalls and acts on Captain America's combat advice throughout this story.

He's hanging out with his pal Paulie who's urging him to pluck up the courage to ask Irene for a date. Rick does it and is astounded when she agrees. That weekend he takes her to a movie and then a friend of hers invites them to a party at Jamie's big house while his parents are away. The pair go there on Rick's motorbike. Jock Jamie is glad to see Irene but not so keen on letting Rick in, ribbing him about being a radio ham.

Later in the evening the pair go out on a balcony. Rick lends Irene his jacket and tells her he was an orphan. He tells her he likes her a lot and she agrees to a kiss. But then drunk (and obviously jealous) Jamie interrupts them spoiling for a fight. Rick obliges him and easily defeats him with the moves Cap taught him. But he goes too far and Irene's sympathies switch to the fallen bully. She tells Rick to go and she never wants to see him again.
