Hulkling and Wiccan Infinity Comic #1 Review by (November 6, 2021)
This is an online Infinity Comics series.

I've followed the ex-Young Avengers duo through their stint in the 2015 New Avengers series and the Empyre event where Hulkling became the Kree/Skrull Emperor and they got married. They had joint 1-shots in the King In Black and Last Annihilation events, but this is their 1st mini-series.

Northstar and Kyle Jinadu got married in 2012's Astonishing X-Men #51.

Iceman came out as gay in 2015's Uncanny X-Men #600, but his relationships with men have been no more successful than his previous ones with women.

Marvel Fandom Wiki suggests the mystery woman is the witch Agatha Harkness. She has a habit of being temporarily dead (but that's par for the course with Marvel chars) but she's currently alive since Scarlet Witch (2016) #14. She's generally on the side of the good guys, but sometimes her methods are somewhat suspect. We await to see what her game is here.

Synopsis / Summary / Plot

Hulkling and Wiccan Infinity Comic #1 Synopsis by Rob Johnson
Hulkling (Teddy Altman/Dorrek VIII, Emperor of the Kree-Skrull Alliance) and Wiccan (Billy Kaplan, Royal Consort and Court Magician) are married, and now the Kaplan-Altmans have invited some guests to an all-gay dinner party in the Royal Palace in space. Billy is tuxedoed for the do and a snap of his fingers transforms Teddy's clothes too. A spell also transports their guests here:- Jean-Paul Beaubier (Northstar of Alpha Flight/X-Men) and his husband Kyle Jinadu, and solo Bobby Drake (Iceman of the X-Men, specifically currently the Marauders) who's baked a pie.

Billy and Teddy don't really know the others but thought it was time to start socialising. Things go well until Kyle asks them if they intend to continue living in the space palace for the foreseeable future, and Billy answers "No" while Teddy says "Yes". Billy was hoping that when things settled down they could spend some time back on Earth, but Teddy thinks his Emperor job is full-time and he doesn't see it getting easier any time soon. Jean-Paul and Kyle assure them that they'll work their differences out, and Bobby changes the subject by urging them all to try his pie.

After the party (with at least *some* pie conspicuously not eaten) the couple discuss the problem. Teddy admits he misses New York too and their friends there. He asks Billy if he's not happy here, but before Wiccan can answer his partner gets called away for Emperor business.

Suddenly a games console materialises by Billy's side. He picks it up and sees a game called 'Possibilities' weirdly personalised with the duo's images. Intrigued he starts the game ... and we see an old woman smiling.

Then we see Billy and Teddy waking in separate beds and being greeted by strangers who they welcome as their loves.
