Synopsis / Summary / Plot

Captain America #2 Synopsis by Kevin Hollander
Steve Rogers returns home from his battle with Master Man's soldiers to check on his family. As he enters his house, his wife Peg and son Rick are unresponsive and seem frozen in place.

Nick Fury steps forward to calm down the agitated Steve Rogers. After the obligatory shouting match - which Fury wins - Rogers calms down and allows Fury to explain what's happening. Fury explains that he's the head of an Federal organization known as S.H.I.E.L.D. Even though he's unaware of this, he works for them, which makes Fury his boss. He tells him that his current life is a lie. He then proves his point by showing him that his wife and child are robotic Life Model Decoys (L.M.D.s) that were created in response to his decision to disobey a Presidential order.

On a classified aircraft carrier, Lieutenant Sam "Falcon" Wilson is informed that his father Sergeant Abraham Wilson passed away. He is to report to Philadelphia immediately.

In the abandoned church currently serving as the headquarters of the World Party, Master Man interrogates the captured Agent Hunt. They are supervised by the leader of this organization: the Red Skull.
