Incredible Hulk, The (1968 series) #429 synopsis by Julio MM

Hulk as Bob Danner saves a bum girl from being ran away by a car. This girl is pregnant and wants an abortion. When Betty Ross accompanies her to the hospital, a manifestation brakes out and the girl gets accidentally killed. When Hulk arrives Chief Largo tries to stop him and both start fighting. To Bruce's surprise, Largo withstands his blows and is able to return some more. When Hulk feels he's loosing control, he runs away before he turns into the Savage Banner. Largo doesn't follow him. Betty finds her husband at home and calms him down, causing the Merged (Professor) Hulk return. Finally, the Danners are visited by the girl's father who surprisedly knows about Bob's secret identity, offering money to find the person responsible for the killing of her daughter.
