Synopsis / Summary / Plot

Incredible Hulk #6 Synopsis by Julio Molina-Muscara
After escaping from Tyrannus' lair, the Hulk arrives at the Florida swamps and rests. The deep sleep turns him into Bruce Banner; he's been observed by the Man-Thing. Bruce is found by some people and taken to their village. When Banner wakes up, he's is greeted by... Betty Ross, his dead wife!

The village's leader is Owen Candler, Bruce's former college professor. Looking a lot younger, Candler explains Bruce how he managed to rejuvenate using a mutant vegetable he created. Bruce deduces that all village people, including Betty, are just forms created from plants. Despite getting nervous, Banner doesn't turn into the Hulk. According to Candler, certain pollen in that village prevents the transformation. Candler is no other than a maniac killer and a radical vegetarian who pretends to dominate the world with his twisted methods. Bruce opposes, and he is tied and thrown into a giant carnivorous plant.

Meanwhile, Tyrannus orders his servants to find the Hulk.
