Synopsis / Summary / Plot

Marvel 1985 #3 Synopsis by Peter Silvestro

1964: Jerry Goodman and Clyde Wyncham bonded over comic books to cope with family sorrows….

1971: Jerry met his future wife who has impressed with his musical and artistic abilities so long as he didn’t talk about Clyde Wyncham….

1985: Jerry is now dating Deputy Sheriff Patrice and it’s going well. Patrice goes to work investigating the previous night’s double murder and the Sheriff theorizes that Edgar killed Dolores and was accidentally struck by lightning—even though there hasn’t been a storm in weeks….

Jerry picks up Toby in his new vehicle, a former ice cream truck; Toby tells Dad about the possibility of moving to England. Dad tries to frame it as an advantage but Toby won’t allow it. Then they see a bunch of people walking through the woods in single-file. A closer looks shows they are walking into the river, singing, at the behest of MODOK. Jerry and Toby get out of there….

The kids at the playground are attacked by Moloids and dragged underground into the realm of the Mole Man….

An older couple see a lot of people lying in the street and follow the trail to face Ultron….

The Sheriff and his deputies gun down Leap-Frog but are then called to a rampaging Fin Fang Foom….

Dad and Toby drive back into town, past the newly arriving National Guard and fleeing citizens, to see if Mom is alright but then something lands on the truck roof: the Lizard….
