Marvel Universe vs. Wolverine (2011 series) #4

An unconscious Wolverine is found by Captain America, Deadpool, and the Punisher. When he recovers, they tell him that Reed Richards and the other scientists have made it to the staging center while they await the rescue ships. Deadpool is dispatched to find out Hulk’s plans….

At the Holland Tunnel, Hulk’s army continues its search for the uninfected; ‘Pool spies on them from a distance but he becomes infected too….

Logan, Cap, and Castle make plans. The scientists are in a warehouse in Elizabeth, New Jersey. Shuri and her Quinjets cannot be found. The Hulk is most likely to come over the Newark Bay Bridge; Castle suggests blowing it up, which would trap a million uninfected in New York City. ‘Pool comes back with word that Hulk’s army is taking a different route. Black Panther arrives and offers to help but Cap tells him he is more valuable as a scientist than a fighter. Privately, Logan tells Deadpool that he is needed to hold himself together against the infection if they are to survive….

Cap, Punisher, ‘Pool, and Logan prepare to fight a holding action to keep Hulk’s band, led by the Thing, at bay with heavy weaponry. But Hulk is not with his army so Logan goes out to find him. Castle tells Logan to take Deadpool with him or he (Castle) will kill him. Logan and ‘Pool enter the city of Elizabeth where they are met by Hulk planning to eat them. Logan and ‘Pool have to hold Hulk so the scientists can get away. During the battle at the bridge, Cap becomes infected and asks Punisher to kill him; Castle fires a bullet into Cap’s head. Logan fights Hulk, taking an awful beating until he sees the trucks leaving. Back at the bridge, Punisher blows it all up….

Two years later in the Arctic, as Reed Richards and T’Challa head up the search for a cure, Logan continues to bring uninfected refugees to the sanctuary….
