Synopsis / Summary / Plot

Punisher War Journal #66 Synopsis by Peter Silvestro

The Punisher takes the V.I.G.I.L. officers on a chase through the supposedly abandoned tenement building, leading them to a fugitive in hiding, a sex dungeon, and a family of squatters. Captain America confronts Frank and asks him to surrender peacefully….

Elsewhere gang boss Mr. Machete blames Willy for the loss of the drugs (last issue) and executes him with a sword....

The Punisher knowing he can’t defeat Cap in a had-to-hand fight dashes back through the building. Sensing that Cap is not at peak performance, Frank heads for the roof. There he breaks into a water tower, sending waves crashing down on his pursuer; he then grabs onto Tess Clay’s news helicopter and orders them to fly to Manhattan. Cap discourages V.I.G.I.L. head John Lowe from an aerial battle over the city and assures him that the Punisher made a mistake in heading there….
