Synopsis / Summary / Plot

Thor #150 Synopsis by Marvel Comics
Checking Thor's body and finding no pulse, the Wrecker leaves him for dead. Soon after, Hela appears but finds a spark of life in Thor, whose astral form rises to seek an audience.

In the Norn forest, a giant barbaric attacks Balder and Sif. After defeating the giant, Balder discovers that Sif has disappeared.

On Earth, Hela tries to take Thor to Valhalla but he insists she hold off. In his astral form, Thor pursues the Wrecker but cannot affect anything tangible.

Meanwhile, three forest trolls ambush Balder and capture him for Karnilla, who already has Sif. Karnilla shows Thor's apparently lifeless body to Sif, then tells her the only chance of saving the Thunder God is to slay the Wrecker. She produces the Destroyer, which she previously procured, and convinces Sif to transfer her spirit into it. Karnilla sends the Destroyer to Earth. She and Loki delight in their scenario in which they hope Thor and Sif will kill each other.

Realizing his astral form can do nothing, Thor returns to his body and comes to life. The Destroyer appears and quickly defeats the Wrecker. Seeing the Destroyer, Thor steps in to confront it.
