While they are meeting, Magneto breaks into their headquarters, taunts the heroes, punishes his traitorous son Quicksilver by shooting him in the knees, and leaves. Ultimate War #2 Review by (February 15, 2010)
Additonal inking by Andy Owens and Aaron Sowd. Ultimates: Captain America, Thor, Iron Man, Wasp, Quicksilver, Scarlet Witch. X-Men: Professor Xavier, Jean Grey, Wolverine, Kitty Pryde, Beast, Storm. The first two issues were released the same month. The miniseries has been reprinted in trade paperback form as ULTIMATE X-MEN VOL. 5: ULTIMATE WAR. Bruce Banner appears in only one panel, showing him still in custody in a special cell in the Ultmates’ headquarters. In the following issue we are told that when Magneto shut down the power to attack the Triskelion, Banner transformed into the Hulk, killed the guards and escaped, but he is not seen in that issue.
