Synopsis

Ultimate War #3 synopsis by Peter Silvestro
Rating: 3 stars
At a high-security safe site in the US, Nick Fury promises the President that he will do everything he can to bring down Magneto and the X-Men. At the Triskelion, Captain America learns of the Hulk’s escape and reveals that he knows Wasp is a mutant and assures her that their actions are a war on terror not a war on mutants. In hiding, Professor X arranges for a meeting with Magneto. At the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the two opposing mutant leaders meet; Xavier proposes that the X-Men join the Brotherhood and cooperate in conquering America. Magneto asks time to ponder the offer; it was a ruse (of course) to allow Wolverine to trail the mutant terrorist back to his hideout. Magneto, however, had a trick up his sleeve: he tipped off SHIELD as to the meeting and now the Ultimates are preparing an assault on the X-Men’s secret refuge.
