Hulk goes to Monument Valley on the Utah/Arizona border to fight Rulk. Once again, Rulk proves way too strong, putting the Hulk on the ropes. Thor  appears and discharges his might over the Red Hulk, giving the Green Hulk a break.

A-Bomb, who is able to track the Hulk, explains the Hulk that the madder Rulk gets, the hotter he gets (does not become stronger). Hulk tackles Rulk while A-Bomb convinces Thor to stay away because it is Hulk who must fight.

Rulk punches the Hulk repeatedly which makes the Hulk stronger, and Rulk hotter, confusing the villain. It's when the Hulk knocks Rulk out with a single punch.

Before departing, Thor tells the Hulk that he considers him an ally. Hulk accepts his "friendship" and shakes hands with a big smile.

Tired, the Hulk turns into Bruce Banner who walks away in the desert. A-Bomb turns into Rick Jones who shouts "Bruce! You need to know the truth! The Red Hulk is..." Doc Samson shoots Jones while General Thunderbolt Ross before departing, speaks to an unconscious Rulk saying "We gave you everything you needed to destroy that green monster, still you failed".

Sometime later, Rulk regains conscioussness looking very unhappy.

Hulk (2008 series) #6 Review by (February 15, 2010)
The Hulk finally beats the Red Hulk (Rulk), whose identity remains a secret. Most readers believed Rulk to be Doc Samson but that theory is proven wrong in this issue.
