Synopsis / Summary / Plot

Hulk: Gamma Games #3 Synopsis by Peter Silvestro

The Leader drains all of the gamma radiation from Bruce Banner, leaving him (apparently) dead. Her purpose ended, the villain allows Betty Ross to leave. On her way out, she discovers Bruce is alive. He feels he is finally free of the Hulk but learning that Leader is experimenting on humans to create his own Hulk army, Bruce decides he must stop the Leader. Elsewhere, Leader is spraying human subjects with gamma radiation, watching them mutate and having his Humanoids destroy any that are not useful. Bruce and Betty make their way to the armory and Bruce tries shooting himself in the leg to trigger a change into Hulk but nothing happens, other than a wounded leg, of course. They arm themselves and shoot their way through Humanoids to the lab; Bruce exposes himself to the gamma and transforms once again into the Hulk. He orders Betty to flee the island while he smashes all of the Leader’s new monsters, finally seizing the gamma storage unit and eating it. Leader laughs at the irony that he failed to defeat Hulk because he thinks too much. Hulk blows up the place and leaps away as Betty wonder where he has gone….
