Hulk sneaks aboard a plane bound for New York, seeking refuge after recent events. But waiting for him is Mr. Hyde, eager to settle the score after a previous defeat at the hands of the green behemoth. Mercy orchestrates the confrontation, and the battle erupts mid-flight.

Though Hulk defeats Hyde, the fight damages the aircraft, causing it to lose an engine. With lives at stake, Hulk takes control and manages to land the plane safely, preventing disaster.

Meanwhile, in Egypt, doctors deliver grim news to Marlo Jones: Rick Jones has been left paralyzed from the impact of the crash caused by Hulk’s earlier outburst. Betty Ross also appears in this issue, adding emotional weight to the unfolding consequences.
