Infernal Hulk vs. Wolverine (2026 series) #1

Story continued from THE INFERNAL HULK #10.

Wolverine drops from the jet without a parachute, staying in contact with Jubilee aboard. They have located the ruined church where Infernal Hulk was holding some X-Men prisoner. But Logan can smell Hulk inside, so the recon mission takes on a darker objective: killing the enemy leader. Jubilee tells him not to endanger himself but he ignores her and enters the building to find Infernal Hulk sitting on a throne made from a dead tree. Hulk greets him, implying they have met before which Logan denies. Logan leaps forward and slashes Hulk’s face and then proceeds with surgical precision to cut Hulk around the face and throat. Hulk seizes him and hurls him against a wall. Logan returns to the attack, cutting Hulk’s deltoids to that his arms are useless until they heal then shears half of Hulk’s head off. Hulk then grabs Logan with his teeth and shoves him into a wall, using his foot to smash him all the way through. Horribly mutilated, Logan returns to the battle but Hulk, his arm power restored, seizes Logan and squeezes him until his eyes pop out. So Logan severs Hulk’s fingers with his claws. Hulk makes his green blood form tendrils that weave themselves into a cage for Logan, which squeezes him—then Jubilee arrives to take on Hulk, which Logan did not want to happen. Hulk wraps Jubilee with his blood tendrils which burn until she is only an outline of light, claiming to be everything. She tells Logan that it is always the others who pay for what Logan does, and he will last forever. And she brought him there to eat his mind….

A shell-shocked Wolverine is found wandering through the forest by Captain Marvel. She tells him that she found the One Above All but he wouldn’t come. But Nick Fury did....
