Synopsis

Incredible Hulk, The (1968 series) #397 synopsis by Julio MM
Rating: 3 stars

After the chaos in Las Vegas, Hulk and his fellow Pantheon members return to find their home base, the Mount, under siege. The attackers: the U-Foes, a quartet of superpowered adversaries whose abilities rival the Fantastic Four’s—but twisted by ambition and cruelty. The battle is intense, with Hulk and the Pantheon pushing back against the U-Foes’ coordinated assault.

But the situation escalates when a second wave of enemies arrives: The Leader, Rock, Redeemer, and a host of other gamma-spawned beings, each warped by radiation and driven by a singular goal—finding Agamemnon, the enigmatic and immortal leader of the Pantheon. These gamma-powered forces join the U-Foes, turning the skirmish into a full-blown war at the Mount. Hulk, caught in the center, must fight not just for survival, but to protect his allies and uncover the truth behind this coordinated attack.
