Synopsis / Summary / Plot

Incredible Hulk #149 Synopsis by Julio Molina-Muscara
Hulk is held in an army base with strong tranquilizers. Back as Bruce Banner, he agrees to find a definitive cure for his transformations.

Meanwhile, a UFO crashes nearby with a single passenger, the Inheritor. A powerful being, the Inheritor is millions of years old, and was born in planet Earth itself (!) He has returned to finish his mutation and conquer the world!

The army can't stop him as the villain enters the base. Banner turns into the Hulk and fights him. After trading some heavy blows, the Inheritor suffers his final mutation, and turns into a cockroach (!) Hulk finds the insect inoffensive, and lets it go.

Also in this story: Thunderbolt Ross, Glenn Talbot, Betty Ross; in flashbacks, the High Evolutionary.
