Incredible Hulk, The (1968 series) #352

Haunted by dreams of survival, the Hulk remembers escaping the gamma bomb blast in Middletown—thanks to a last-minute intervention by the wizard Gorsham, who transported him to the microscopic world of K’ai. There, Hulk is tasked with defeating the fanatical Inquisitor, a religious tyrant bent on crushing dissent.

Despite the Inquisitor’s relentless efforts, Hulk overpowers him with ease. The people of K’ai, awestruck by his strength and compassion, begin to worship Hulk as a divine protector. But this fleeting divinity is short-lived. Gorsham, having fulfilled his purpose, sends Hulk back to Earth.

As the dream fades, Hulk awakens as Bruce Banner, left to wonder whether the godhood he tasted was real—or just another fragment of his fractured psyche.
