Synopsis / Summary / Plot

Thor #187 Synopsis by Marvel Comics
Thor evades the enthralled Odin and flees rather than battle his father. Infinity continues to consume planets while Earth's calamities worsen.

In Asgard, the Odinsword continues to move from the sheath. Balder and Sif go to Karnilla for help, battling a band of Trolls along the way. Karnilla joins them but is unable to free the Warriors Three from Infinity's power.

Loki, seeing the nearly-unsheathed Odinsword, helps Karnilla with her spell. They free the Warriors Three who remember nothing of their experience.

Thor returns to Asgard and, hoping to be beneath Infinity's notice, transforms to Don Blake and has the Grand Vizier share all he knows about the crisis. The Vizier shows an image of Odin in the Sea of Eternal Night. When Thor emerges from the chamber, he sadly informs his allies that he has seen Infinity and that Infinity must triumph.
