Avengers Forever Infinity Comic #3 Review by (April 8, 2022)
We'll have to wait for next issue to find out how this series ties back in to Avengers Forever. Probably via the Goddesses Of Thunder and their hunt for Mjolnirs.

Synopsis / Summary / Plot

Avengers Forever Infinity Comic #3 Synopsis by Rob Johnson
The Multiversal Masters Of Evil killed the 1 Million BC Avengers of Earth-5478 but they left behind Odin's buried hammer Mjolnir. Last issue Horus the blind miner found it and was deemed worthy to be Thor. He rose from the deep mines where he'd lived all his life into the mythical sky. But there he was attacked by the MMOE's Ghost Goblin who rules this world.

Even as they battle in the sky Mjolnir explains to Horus/Thor why he was chosen to save this world. GG wants to know where Thor came from because he stopped the rise of superheroes back in the Stone Age. Thor shows him the power of the hammer he forgot about. Goblin throws some bombs (made from the skulls of Ghost Riders) at him. They cause some of the upper-world folk (who worship the Goblin as a god and wear the gems Horus and his kind mine as ornaments) to fall from a balcony. Blind Thor uses the senses that allow him to find such gems to locate their falling bodies and scoop them from the air to deposit them safely on the ground.

Then it's back to the sky for round 2. Ghost Goblin now realises that Thor must be a miner from down below, out of his element in the sky. But Thor drops Mjolnir on the Goblin Glider, and all 4 plummet to the ground and deep into the dark where he's more at home. There GG can't see what's happening as the hammer flies around pummelling him. And then Thor bursts up from the debris of their fall and starts hitting him with Mjolnir. But Goblin emits a blast of Hellfire which propels the hero back up to the surface.

Now GG on his Glider drags Thor and Mjolnir separately into the sky on Hellfire chains. Horus fears that he has lost the fight and now the Goblin will take the hammer and destroy it, or possibly use it. Mjolnir tells him what he must do. Thor grabs Mjolnir and hurls it out into space. As he falls to his death on the ground he hears Mjolnir say he will be avenged.

Out in space we are told that it will take more than the power of Thor to save this world. It will take the power of *all* the Thors. As we see the hammer meet another Mjolnir.
