Far from Gamma Base, Bruce and Rick begin the long hike to get home before nightfall.
Meanwhile,
S.H.I.E.L.D.
conducts an experiment to enhance
General Ross
with some of
Zzzax
's electrical energy. When the experiment goes out of control, Ross's mind merges with Zzzax's body, and he escapes to go Hulk hunting.
When night comes, both Bruce and Rick transform, and the battle of Hulk vs. Hulk begins. Just as Bruce is winning the fight, Zzzax appears and blasts him back into Banner form, threatening to kill them both.
