Incredible Hulk, The (1968 series) #376

This issue primarily explores the internal psychological war between the Savage Hulk, Gray Hulk, and Bruce Banner. The Gray Hulk has trapped the Green Hulk behind a psychological door within Banner's psyche. The Green Hulk eventually breaks free, leading to an all-out fight between the two Hulks.

This internal conflict physically manifests in Banner’s body, which transforms and warps as he throws himself through walls and buildings in a desperate attempt to gain control over the Hulks. In a touching final moment, Betty helps Banner take control, proving that Banner is the strongest one there is.

The final page shows the arrival of Doc Samson, who comes to help Banner and the Hulks come to terms with each other's existence.
