Synopsis

Incredible Hulk (2000 series) #101 synopsis by reviewer Julio MM
Rating: 4 stars

The Hulk, Caiera, and Hiroim are summoned by the mysterious Shadow Elders—ancient stewards of Sakaar’s deepest prophecies. In their hidden lair, the Elders deliver a harsh verdict: the Hulk, with his violent nature and destructive power, cannot be the true Sakaarson—the prophesied figure destined to unite all races of the planet.

But Hulk’s not interested in prophecies or judgment. He’s here to end tyranny. Without hesitation, he commandeers the Elders’ stone starship and sets course for Crown City, determined to confront the Red Emperor and liberate Sakaar once and for all.

Upon arrival, Hulk does the unthinkable: he forms an alliance with the Spikes—once feared as parasitic enemies of the people. Recognizing the Hulk’s cause, the Spikes agree to fight alongside Jade Jaws in the battle against the Emperor’s forces.

It’s a turning point in the war for Sakaar. The Hulk, once seen as a destroyer, now commands the loyalty of warriors, rebels, and even monsters. The prophecy may still be in question… but the revolution is very real.

There's a storytelling/continuity error: In page 4, Hulk's wearing armor in his left arm; but he does not in the following four pages. Other pencilers: Gary Frank. Other inkers: Jon Sibal.
