Incredible Hulk (2000 series) #103 synopsis by reviewer Julio MM
Rating: 5 stars

After feeding the Spike Fathers for seven straight hours, the Hulk is drained—so much so that he briefly reverts to Bruce Banner. The Spikes, grateful for his energy, disperse through the city to feed their kind without harming anyone else.

Caiera witnesses the Hulk shrinking, but doesn’t see Bruce’s face. When the Hulk re-emerges, he walks through the city with Caiera, greeted by citizens offering gifts and praise.

Meanwhile, Elloe, Miek, and their followers wipe out the last of the Red King’s forces and storm the Senate. There, Elloe’s mother—a Senator—begs her daughter to stop. She claims the world belongs to the “pinkies,” not the bugs.

Elloe and Miek are ready to fight to the death. But the Hulk crashes in, demanding they settle their feud in the arena. The factions clash—until the Hulk steps into the ring and challenges them both to fight him instead.

Stabbed from both sides, the Hulk roars: *“The war is over!”* He calls for peace between pinkies and bugs. And they listen.

The Shadow Elders, watching closely, are now convinced: the Hulk is the Sakaarson—the prophesied savior of Sakaar.

With the Red King dead, the Elders renew the Shadow Pact. In exchange for protecting their lands and rights, the Hulk asks for a queen. He chooses Caiera. She accepts.

During their private wedding ceremony, Caiera asks the Hulk to reveal everything. He transforms into Bruce Banner. She kisses him—and he turns back into the Hulk.

Later, they step onto a balcony, letting the people of Sakaar see their new King and Queen.

The Hulk has found peace. But Miek isn’t satisfied. He wants the Green Scar to keep smashing—to keep making his enemies pay.

It’s revealed that Miek and the Brood were lovers. By accident, they stumble upon the shuttle that brought the Hulk to Sakaar. They replay the farewell message from the Illuminati.

And Miek conceives a plan...

The Hulk's newest wife and queen, Caiera is gray skinned and a warrior. Jarella, his first wife and queen, was green and a warrior. Both are non humans. Jarella died after saving a kid. Will Caiera die heroically, too? (answer is... yes)
