Synopsis / Summary / Plot

Incredible Hulk #608 Synopsis by Julio Molina-Muscara
Bruce Banner and his group (A-Bomb, Korg, Skaar, Lyra), along with Spider-Man and Wolverine, attack the Intelligencia's Helicarrier. After neutralizing the Red Ghost, and his chimps, Banner approaches Betty Ross. But it is Glenn Talbot who locks her to safely.

It is later revealed that it was Amadeus Cho disguised as Banner who went after Betty. Amadeus believes Talbot to be alive and well, not a robot like the real Banner suspects.

Banner reaches the chamber where Reed Richards, and the other hero geniuses are locked and kept under hypnoses. He seemingly frees them, but the Leader launches his metamorphoses plan, turning dozens of U.S. soldiers, and some super heroes, into Hulks!

Banner wakes up. Betty's next to him in bed, and asks him if it was the same nightname again. Fortunately, it was just that.

Leader, the Red She-Hulk, and MODOK smile as they watch Banner hooked to the hypnoses table...

Story #2

Big, Red, And Deadly!

Writer: Harrison Wilcox. Penciler: Ryan Stegman. Inker: Tom Palmer. Colorist: Guru-eFX.

Synopsis / Summary / Plot

This story discloses events that occurred right before the Red Hulk met the Red She-Hulk for the first time (in Hulk #15).

MODOK and the Leader watch a playback of the Red She-Hulk's first mission. They both agree it's when things "went wrong".

Her first mission started with a fight against Elektra and Domino. When it seemed like the Red She-Hulk had it her way, Electra accurately stabbed her in the back (between lumbars), leaving her immobile. Elektra then took off carrying Domino.

Doc Samson showed up, removing the sai from the Red She-Hulk's back. He commanded her to face the Red Hulk, and bring it to him.

Doc Samson explained in his report that the She-Hulk became vulnerable for letting her emotions get the better of her. That's not preferred by MODOK and the Leader since they' need the Red She-Hulk to be better than the Hulks. However, they coincide that while she stays under their control, the Red Hulk and Bruce Banner won't pose a real threat to their plans.
