Black Widow (2014 series) #18 Review by (December 2, 2025)

Review: And now we reach the point of the series: Natasha questioning her life. This has been hinted at the whole time but now we have her out boating with her cat, not the typical conclusion of a superhero comic. By this point in her decades-long career we all have an idea of who she is so don’t anticipate any surprises. And the art is growing positively sunny, far from the grim aspect in the early issues.

Comments: The incident Sam Cap is describing to Clint is found in THE PUNISHER (2014) #17. Natasha calls Sam Cap Victor Cole, the name of a noted baseball player of the day, as he and Clint are tossing around a baseball. Final appearance of Isaiah Ross, who was created for this series and has not been seen since.
