Cast into the Crossroads—a realm of infinite realities and impossible choices—Hulk awakens beneath a twisted tree whose hundred hands point in every direction. With a single earth-shaking blow, he uproots it, defying the very nature of indecision.
He soon encounters the Puffball Collective: telepathic beings that drift like cotton, merging and reforming no matter how hard he strikes. They offer friendship, even mimicking Bruce Banner’s form—but Hulk sees through the illusion and responds with fury.
Drawn to a shimmering gate, Hulk enters a world of water—only to be ensnared by monstrous tentacles. But Ol’ Greenskin proves too wild to tame, and the planet itself rejects him.
Another portal reveals a war-torn city. Hulk, weary and curious, sits among its ruins—unaware that the city is merely a toy in the hands of a cosmic giant. Disillusioned once more, he’s pulled back to the Crossroads by Doctor Strange’s hidden “Fail-Safe” spell, returning to the tree of a hundred hands.
Alone, angry, and unmoored, Hulk continues to wander—seeking a world that can hold both his strength and his soul.
