Thor goes on the offensive against the Destroyer. Just as the Destroyer opens its visor to unleash its disintegrator, it mysteriously collapses. Thor believes Odin has stepped in but, in Asgard, the All-Father is similarly mystified.

In the Norn Kingdom, Karnilla returns Sif's spirit to her body. In response, Balder battles Ulik to protect Karnilla's realm. Realizing Balder cannot defeat Ulik, Karnilla transports Thor to her cavern, where he assumes the battle against the troll.

Meanwhile, on Earth, Odin tricks the police into allowing him to take custody of the empty Destroyer armor.

Back in Karnilla's realm, Thor defeats Ulik by accidentally hurling him into the Abyss of Shadows, but after the fight, he realizes that Loki has stolen Mjolnir.
