Incredible Hulk, The (1968 series) #327

The merged Zzzax/Ross is overpowering the Rick Jones Hulk, who lacks the battle experience of Bruce Banner. With Banner’s coaching, Rick splashes Zzzax with water, shorting him out temporarily.

But Zzzax retaliates by entering Rick’s body, using his electrical energy to override Rick’s nervous system. By turning the Hulk’s power against itself, Zzzax gains the upper hand.

However, as the battle intensifies, Zzzax begins to lose control—his mind unraveling under the influence of the Hulk’s rage. Overwhelmed, Zzzax frees himself from Rick’s body.

The General Ross side, now fully aware of what he has become, is horrified by the transformation into a true monster. He flees the scene, leaving Rick and Bruce alone in the aftermath.
