The Stalker attempts to kill a young woman, who flees in desperation and stumbles into the streets—where she encounters the (Gray) Hulk. Her eyes are injured, and she cannot see him, but she pleads for help, begging the Hulk to save her from the monster.
The Stalker tries to convince Hulk to let her go, but Hulk stands his ground and protects her. When the police arrive, the Stalker vanishes.
Bruce Banner later discovers that the Stalker is somehow connected to a man named Gil Jeffers. Watching Gil through a window, Bruce witnesses the Stalker emerge from Gil’s body.
The two monsters confront each other, and the Stalker manipulates Hulk into killing four men. Realizing the deception, Hulk grabs the Stalker and drives his fist through the creature’s chest.
Gil falls into a coma, and the nightmare of the Stalker—who had previously murdered three girls—is finally silenced by the gray-skinned strongman.
