Synopsis / Summary / Plot

Incredible Hulk #228 Synopsis by Julio Molina-Muscara
For the recent hypnotic session, Doc Samson used a very strong doses in the Hulk. Now the green mammoth does not turn back into Bruce Banner. So Doc Samson decides to study the behemoth's skills. He ends up gaining the Hulk's trust. Doc Samson is convinced that Hulk can be reinserted into society as a civilized person. So he hires a new assistant, Karla Sofen to aid his quest. Unknown to the gamma spawned psychiatrist, Sofen is non other than Moonstone, a villain eager to steal the top secrets from Gamma Base. While everyone was sleeping, Moonstone sneaked through the labs but was found by an awaken Hulk. She attacks the giant, who defends himself and defeats her. Moonstone faints and turns back into Karla Sofen. Meanwhile, everyone gathered to see what was happening. And they're surprised by the scene of Hulk grabbing Karla Sofen up high, as if he just killed her. As this is taken place, Thunderbolt Ross starts showing signs of a very bad nervous breakdown.
