World War Hulk - Warbound (Part 4)

Synopsis

Incredible Hulk (2000 series) #110 synopsis by reviewer Julio MM
Rating: 4 stars

The Hulk finds Amadeus Cho speaking to his captives in Madison Square Garden—now transformed by the Hulk into a brutal fighting arena. Cho was supposedly Hulk’s friend, so things aren’t looking good for the super-genius teen. But Cho is convinced: the Hulk doesn’t kill.

The Hulk charges at Cho’s defiance, pounding the teen’s right and left sides, until Scorpion and others rush in to defend him. Still, the brilliantly stubborn teenager is right. The Hulk doesn’t want to kill his enemies. Cho deciphers the way Hulk’s mind works:

> “You’re like me,” Cho tells him. “You can see everything—the mathematics of every object around you. As long as your brain hasn’t been tampered with, there’s a part of you that’s always running the numbers. You know where the innocents are... and how to save them.”

Later, Amadeus sends a rescue call to the Renegades, and Scorpion delivers a venomous strike that nearly brings the Hulk down for good. Writhing in pain, Cho calls him a monster—blaming him for the deaths of Jarella, Betty, and Caiera.

Once healed, the Hulk appears to smash Cho... but doesn’t even touch him. The boy was right. He pushed Jade Jaws to the edge—and proved his point: **The Hulk doesn’t kill.**

What the Hulk *does* want is for his enemies—controlled by Obedience Disks—to **kill each other** in the arena. And that show is about to begin...
