Synopsis / Summary / Plot

Incredible Hulk #40 Synopsis by Julio Molina-Muscara
Banner reaches a town called Miser in Colorado, and enters a grocery store. A man named Harry, who just got fired, enters that same store and unfolding a gun, asks the cashier for all the money. A police man enters the bar and is shot by the criminal. The desperate man grabs a teenager as hostage, and Bruce tries to calm the man down. Local police arrive, with agent Sally Riker as the negotiator. Riker had resigned from the force, accussed for the death of hostages during a previous incident. But she wants to help in this incident. She calls the store, and Bruce is told to answer the phone. Bruce tells Riker his name is Smith. The criminal starts loosing his temper, as FBI forces show up. Those men are commanded by special agent Pratt. Pratt grabs the transmitter, and tells Banner they know who he really is.
